The JCPOA was implemented on January 16, 2016. Trump withdrew from it May 8, 2018. U.S and Israel attacked Iran in February 2026. We are told that hostilities will soon cease. 34 billion and 13 U.S. dead later, Trump had a war and made a deal. No better than JCPOA. No Nobel prize for power hungry.

When contemplating world country rankings, there are numerous assessments. Developed, industrialized economies tend to overshadow others. What about happiness as a criteria? Vietnam is no. 1. Iran is no. 30. U.S. is 107. Clearly, populations are not impressed by (dubious) rhetoric of Government.

Trump claimed during a speech in Georgia, “I’ve won affordability.” According to statistics from Purdue University, food insecurity, especially among SNAP participants, rose drastically by November 2025. SCOTUS just let the air out of the tariff balloon. I am not counting on getting any money back.

The goal must be to shut down International Commerce. I can think of no other reason that it now requires duplicate documentation to FDA to clear a personal shipment of tea from Japan. Not only do they get tariff money, they make the Government bureaucracy even more inefficient.

“Deal Maker” Trump has made ambiguous statements about the U.S./Mexico border wall. He claimed Mexico would pay for it. Deterrence value is largely psychological. The wall is far from completion - like immigration law reform. VP Vance projects 2029 completion. Piecemeal. Washington white elephant.
