Some pixel art I've been working on for a while, could be a possible intro screen for a video game...

Pixeltober #31: Jack O'Lantern This series has been really fun, and I definitely think it helped up my pixel art game! Happy Halloween everyone!

I'm going to do a "Pixeltober" challenge this year, I'm going to do a new pixel art image every day of October! My constraints are this: - 32px by 32px max size - NES color palette only Here's my first one, the prompt is "leaves"

Oh hey I got it to not replace the starting tiles with trees! That ended up being needlessly complicated... Going to have to refactor my crappy code soon!

When you carefully split up your game's components so all the code is neatly organized and-- OH HEY it looks like it's time to make even more of these things interdependent on each other for some new feature to work. 😭 #gamedev

I've been playing around in Godot game engine in my free time. Here's what I have so far, some procedurally generated trees using Perlin noise:

I remember non-AP classes being way too easy even back in the nineties when I was in public school. It's insane that they want to dumb things down even further. Although I think parental involvement always has been extremely important to academic success.

Congratulations to the Animation Guild workers at Disney who just ratified their first contract - after more than two years of organizing and bargaining. Better wages, better benefits, and a stronger voice on the job. It’s always #BetterInAUnion! variety.com/2025/tv/news...

Got a cold on Christmas Eve, now everyone else is coming down with it too. Truly the most joyous time of the year.

It's definitely not just your family...

Welcome to the jolliest and most miserable time of the year! All the other parents out there can relate, I'm sure.

I went to the Nosferatu Immersive Experience last night, it was pretty cool! I may have signed away my soul while I was there, but it was still worth it!

Hopefully the higher engagement is at least one positive thing to come out of these tough times though.

That is very true, I remember when I joined TAG in 2019 every meeting it seemed like we were talking about how many union members were working and the start of every meeting there were dozens of people being sworn in as new members. Times have certainly changed.

Cacophony of Crowns is available in libraries and bookstores near you! If you don't see it on the shelf, ask at the counter and they can special order it for you. They'd love an easy sale! #fantasybooks #fantasy #shortstories #bookshelf #bookish #nowreading #cacophonyofcrowns #writers #booksky 🪐📚

I can vouch for the service manual too, the second photo is my Clymer's manual for my motorcycle! You can get remarkably far on your own with a manual and a few simple tools.

Just gonna brag about this extremely simple repair job I did on my motorcycle. The front right turn signal housing was cracked and slowly falling off the bike. So I ordered a new one and installed it myself! Simple job, but it saved me paying labor costs to fix it as well as lost use time!
