Saw a meme of GenZ baffled by how pre-internet travel worked, and realized we’ve crossed an enshittification threshold where IRL services that once seemed outdated, like travel agents, now seem luxurious: “You meet with a human expert who plans out your whole trip with you” sounds incredible now tbh

Oap, website issues x.x The site SHOULD still work, but until I get it fixed, my DMs are open ^^

Quotes will always be free, and I'll work *with* you every step of the way to make sure your trip is smooth, safe, and fun ^^ Link in my bio for information. If you have questions, feel free to @ me or email me!

I get paid commission by the hotel you stay at, *after* your trip ends. So you don't have to spend extra! What I *can't* do is book the Gaylord for you :( Or MAGFest tickets...essentially I can do backup rooms if you don't win the room lottery, and travel to and from MD, and the convention center.

Planning to go to #MAGFest2027? :o Hi, I'm Derek and I'm a Travel Agent! I can help you book a room, book a flight, a car rental, and even get you tickets for local events! If planning your trip is a pain, I can handle it for you ^^ And my services are free! How though...?

Lucky Rabbit Vacations @lrvacations.bsky.social · 21/05/2026

Howdy! Been a while ^^; I've still been trucking on, tho most of my travel clients have been friends and family to get my feet wet. I've been told of a con in Maryland next year, so I think I'll spend some time helping ppl get rooms outside of the convention center. Don't mind if I get too spammy!

Oh boy, my second booking text ever and it's *ANOTHER* attempted Zoom scam 😒 Anybody wanna travel? Even just making a free quote would make my day right now.

000

Lucky Rabbit Vacations @lrvacations.bsky.social · 29/10/2025

I may not be active *here*... or on many social media sites, for that matter. But I am still available to book your travel! This doesn't mean I'm desperate enough to fall for your Zoom scams >.>

I may focus primarily on Disney (and sometimes Universal) vacations, but today I had a client just finish up an emergency trip to see a relative before they pass :( I suppose not every trip I book has to be happy...but the silver lining? They got to say goodbye. I'm glad they got to.

Lucky Rabbit Vacations @lrvacations.bsky.social · 19/08/2025

Huh...Hurricane Erin got hands if they're rerouting the Carnival Sunshine :( That may be the next cruise ship I go on...any recommendations for things to see/do onboard?

Lucky Rabbit Vacations @lrvacations.bsky.social · 17/08/2025

Hey, cruisers ^^ Question for ya! What do you recommend for those who deal with motion-sickness on cruises? #cruiseline #cruise #disney #royalcaribbean #carnival #norwegian #virgin

You know, it's kinda sad that none of the Travel Agent tools I use have @bsky.app support 🤔 Not sure if that's a Bsky thing, a tool thing, or both though...i got the names if needed, at any rate!

Pretty sure nobody from Boardwalk is reading my posts here, but that was both the funniest and most embarrassing thing in my new career so far.

000

Lucky Rabbit Vacations @lrvacations.bsky.social · 14/08/2025

Fun fact, I sent a test email to myself via the Travel Leaders Network, so I would know for later what it looks like. With the message: "Oi, this is past you. Eat food nerd. Lol, yourself." ... someone from Boardwalk (my parent agency) saw it. They thought it was funny. I was embarrassed T_T;

I'm alive, I promise T_T Just been a bit of a time lately! Things are quieting down some, so I once again feel the itch to focus on actually doing things once again.

I've been informed that I'm allowed to charge an agent fee(?) for handling bookings and stuff! Though for my sanity and legal safety...I'm going to forego this for now. I make commission off completed bookings, and that's fine with me ^^ If you wanna book a vacation, let's talk! Email in bio!

I personally liked it as a kid ^^ I had won a giant red turtle plush from one of the carnival games there, and kept it for so long...but I'll admit, when I went there recently it was just an area unprotected by the hot Florida sun :( I never rode any of the rides, sadly.
