Hey @ecvp.bsky.social we got twice the fun for you today (order of visit recommended): T5AM6 Swantje will talk about Dead Leaves stimuli with which you can model natural image statistics. T5AM1 @lreining.bsky.social will talk about how to segment these dead leaves, testing NNs for optimality.

@lreining.bsky.social presented the talk 'Regularization more than representational capacity drives heuristic discovery in Bounded Meta-Learned Inference' at #cogsci2026. The work, together with Finn Radatz & Nora Cremille came out of a course project in our MSc Cognitive Science program.

I'm incredibly happy to attend #CogSci2026 conference in Rio de Janeiro🌴🥥☀️! Tomorrow at 11:50 I'll give a talk showing that regularization drives heuristic discovery in Bounded Meta-Learned Inference more than representational capacity. Find me in Vidigal ABC!

Good morning #ECVP! Today, two of my colleagues are presenting their posters in the morning and afternoon session 🎉 Lina will introduce you to (mismatching) causal relationships and @lreining.bsky.social will introduce you to MooneyMaker, a Python package to create ambiguous two-tone images.

I won't get to join you all at #ecvp2025 @ecvp.bsky.social this year because I'm on holiday in Australia... but my lab is there in force! Please do go say hi, and check out my students' and postdocs' amazing work! @ben.graphics @lschmittwilken.bsky.social @lreining.bsky.social
