Warhammer store near me has paint challenges. This month’s was “Paint White”. So I painted several whites on one model. #warhammercommunity (technically not Warhammer)

Started Campaign #3, this time on Hard. Evidently Jae felt like her hair made it easy mode

Hawkshroud vs Chaos Knights and World Eaters. Hawkshroud destroyed the Knights. But I felt bad for the World Eaters. They still fell, but it was a newer player. He wanted to play, we wanted a Knight Fight, I held back the Castellan after the Chaos Knights were gone and held the Valiant some.

Well… that final mission was a slog. Hawks, Cly, Trick, and a Random Medic (with a longarm). Cly got the kill. Only normal mode, 0 deaths… well, 1 death. RIP Aurelio

Second game of 11th. Hawkshroud aided the Silver Skulls chapter (maybe Necrons) against the forces of Nurgle (Daemons and Death Guard). The battle ended with victory for the Imperium! #warhammercommunity

My first game of 11th, House Hawkshroud lent support to the Blood Angels against Necrons and Genestealers. Unfortunately the Genestealers managed to sabotage the Angels and Hawkshroud had to retreat after mauling the Necrons. Sadly losing one Armiger in the process.

Every time I watch Black Sails, I wonder if it’s been long enough to have some of the cast make a Treasure Island movie.

Completed the Pumpkin of Pestilence and Pals really early. I’m finally free… until I decide next year’s raffle prize. Probably a Bloodthirster and Buds, likely in pink. #warhammercommunity

Man, it’s rough being a nerd in 2026. You’re telling me 40k’s 11th edition Armageddon box comes out on the 20th (preordered), the Legions Mandalorian box comes out the 19th (preordered, should probably learn to play), and the Marvel Magic set prerelease is the 19-21? My wallet is crying.

Been playing more Dead By Daylight more since the Darkest Dungeon crossover called to me. I’m not a fan of the odd daily quests to sacrifice survivors. I just want to traumatize them a little and get a fun slug race.

Mandalorian and Grogu was fun. It’s not Andor/Rogue One, but a fine summer action film.

The rough part of a new edition of Warhammer 40K… determining what army I should focus on. 8th was Drukhari and Sons of the Phoenix (as Crimson Fists) 9th was Space Marines (various), Chaos Knights, and World Eaters 10th was World Eaters, Chaos Knights, Imperial Knights, and Dark Angels 11th?

Pestilent Pumpkin and Pals (Charity Raffle prize for October) are technically halfway done. Bilepiper and Nurglings complete. 1/10 Plaguebearers. 0/1 Great Unclean One. Not lastminuting this time. #warhammercommunity

Murderwing coming along fine. Old Warp Talon a bit small compared to the others, but I wanted the new kit to be playable as Raptors. #warhammercommunity

Why hate the Imperium, or the Xenos, or Chaos, when you can hate all of them at once? Sons of Malice Warp Talon test for my Murderwing KT. #warhammercommunity

Quote with your most common colors? Also white. So much that it became a meme at the LGSs I go to.

I always enjoy watching time pass. When the Guard codex came out with Yarrick’s death announcement, I remember so many “No body? Not dead” statements. Now I see some people are mad that he is back, but they’re fine with using Gaunt’s Ghosts. The Old Man won’t die until he takes out Ghazghkull.

So many rumors about 11th Edition has gotten me eyeing Orkz. I can surely resist. I can resist the call of the Waaagh! So what if I bought a Big Mek. It’s just to see how to paint… Orkz. #warhammer-community

Finished painting my Blood Bowl team. Stuck trying to find a name for them (team and players). The Khornefield Kapillary Busters? I’m thinking John Hellway and Donovan McStab so far. Need more names though. #warhammercommunity

Wasn’t that hyped for TMNT, but bought a pack to support LGS. And got one of the cards I wanted, with the coolest art. But which of my commander decks to put him in? He is so good.

Another one bites the dust. Still have my GodHand, but some Warhammer models’ sprue connections are too small for them.

Hawkshroud victorious… sadly Valiant did next to nothing.

Every October an LGS near me runs a charity raffle and events. For the third year in a row, I mediocrely painted up some models for the raffle. This year? The Flamingo of Fate and Friends. All that’s left is the Flamingo’s base, which sadly warped so I’m gonna have to improvise. #warhammer

Won a sealed commander game at the prerelease with Miles Morales as my commander. Ultimate Spider-Man was deemed a threat for some reason. Maybe it was the Spider-Girl with 12 +1/+1 counters and the Spider token with 10. Who can say.
