I work in local gov economic development.The economy dependent on revenue from alcohol sales. It’s convenient for the govt to ignore this issue. Some strategic long term thinking needed to change drinking culture from the top - when they’re not drinking in Westminster bars! Therein lies the problem

This is such a great appointment. My bipolar is mostly stable since stopping drinking. No coincidence there! No medical professional ever discussed drinking with me before I stopped. Is the revenue from alcohol sales higher than the expenditure linked to alcohol problems? #sobriety #AF #bipolar
