I got commissioned to draw Don Quixote! It was fun drawing in this style again >w<!! #SwemDraws #limbuscompany

A full-body art of Don Quixote from Limbus Company. She's standing proudly.

The same image as previous, but just her face.

I will say, as far as the veeery beginning goes I’m actually enjoying it a lot! The water controls are nice and the sounds (other than the alien fishy sounds) are very nice too :3 I think I won’t survive when I meet any of the actual big guys though 😭

Girlie with megalophobia who also gets really scared in any water level in games (even platformers like Spyro and Ape Escape) bought Subnautica, surely this will be fine 💦

I had no intention of doing an art challenge for october, but I've been really motivated drawing a daily chibi fanart >w>;; Call it chib-tober(?) Today it's Ren from the visual novel 14 Days with You! He's been living rent-free in my mind lately 😭 #SwemDraws #14DWY

A chibi drawing of Ren from 14 days with you. He's sitting on the floor with his arms braced on the ground in front of him.

A bust drawing of a man with shoulder-length brunette hair with pink dyed tips. He has olive green eyes and several gold accents in his jewelry.

The same image as previous, but now the man has a black face mask covering his mouth and nose and dark circles under his eyes.

Doing some style experimenting since I've been all art burny outy still-- unsurprisingly using my boy Echo, my favorite guinea pig uwu)/ I've been wanting to incorperate thicker lines into my art lately since the chibi style has been so fun for me! #SwemDraws #SwemOCs

A full-body drawing of my original character, Echo. He's grinning and shooting a finger gun. The art has thick lines and is mostly cell-shaded.

The same image as previous, but cropped to only show his face.

'tis the season of art prompt lists. i made my own list for OC-tober this year! 🎨 have fun with it. feel free to do as much or as little as you want, repeat the same prompts multiple times, combine with other lists, whatever is fun for you! #OC-tober #OC-tober2026 #OCsky

TITLE: OC-Tober Art Prompts
Description: it's OC-tober, the perfect excuse to spend the whole month drawing your
original characters. you can approach these prompts with whatever degree
of seriousness and effort you want. this isn't a legally binding list of obligations,
it's just ideas to get the gears turning!
the list: • finish an unfinished piece (maybe even more than one)
• design a new character, or finish an unfinished design
• rework a character design that needs some polish
• design a movie poster or a magazine cover
• draw a single-page comic or short storyboard
• draw your OCs in an alternate universe
• draw your OCs in another art style
• find a blank art meme/challenge to do
• draw something you find difficult, using your OC
• draw an OC at a different age than you usually do
• redraw a scene from a movie or TV show with OCs
• draw an OC cosplaying one of the characters that
inspired their design
• redraw a childhood drawing of an OC
• draw two OCs interacting who you haven't before
• play with alternate color palettes
Footnote: re-interpret however you want or combine with other lists! the only
rules are have fun, take care of your wrists, and don't use AI.

I’ve not done a lot of full drawing lately other than commissions, but I made some chibi designs today that I’m quite fond of ;w; a redesign of my utau Jovi and a new partner design for him who I’m tentatively calling Lux! CMYK boyos ehehe #SwemOCs #SwemDraws

Two chibi designs, both with a Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black colorscheme. The left has purpleish black spiky hair, fox ears, rainbow eyes and an oversized black jacket. The right has white hair with rainbow highlights, black eyes, angel wings abd a white one-legged body suit.

The ideal setup for me is drawing the days my wife works and taking days off to just chill during her two days off a week, getting in a sort of routine is nice :3

010

Swem 🌸 | VGen Comms! @lovesicklychee.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Rediscovering that set “days off” where I don’t even consider drawing (commissions or personal) really helps when I have burnout 😭 lately I’ve been in a constant stream of “I should draw” every moment of every day and feeling guilty when I don’t so it’s nice to take a break from that!
