I am dissatisfied with the approach to the litter and fly tipping issues in Bell Green, in particular the refusal to put any bins next to 4 busy bus stops serving a massive retail park. So I am withdrawing my voluntary work. No litter picking, no reporting, no weeding. #bellgreen

Good morning Bell Green 💚. One bag collected and had to re report a bag that had been left uncollected and attacked by animals. We also still have an uncollected bed base and a dangerous pole that have remained untouched by @LewishamCouncil. Both reported weeks ago. #bellgreen

Good afternoon Bell Green 🍏. This morning I cleaned this up, with my 9 year old, on the way to school. At least the bin wasn't full (anymore) for a change. #bellgreen #sydenham #litter #se26

Great to see the missing bins in Perry Vale have been replaced with new bins. Hopefully this will stop the new food bins being used for litter. Thank you to Cllr Calcutt Cheadle for dealing with this issue. #greenparty #bins #perryvale #se23

If you were paying someone to weed the pavements, it would be obvious when they are not doing the job. Yet Lewisham Council don't seem to have a clue what their streets look like. 7 bags of weeds, litter and mud. #bellgreen #sydenham #se26 #weeds #accountability

I had to scrape a load of rice and bread out of the community garden again yesterday. If you are throwing food into public spaces, just stop it! It is littering. The concept that nature cannot survive without people covering the planet in food scraps is bemusing. #bellgreen

This is Giorgio. He is 80. He is a Lewisham Homes tenant. Today I cut his hedge, because the council do not. All his windows are rotten. He's been waiting 3 years for replacements and he is cold in winter. I think he has lost hope. #bellgreen #neglect #se26 #sydenham

This council is absolutely bonkers! I welcome these new food waste bins in Perry Vale... But... all the street bins have been removed. In a shopping area. So now there are food bins with no food in them. Just rubbish. Someone make it make sense! #perryvale #lewishamcouncil #se23

The estate bins opposite Haseltine Primary School. Pictures taken Tues, Wed and Thu this week. Why do we expose children to this mess? What does this teach them? The managers of Housing for Lewisham should be ashamed of this. #bellingham #se26 #bellgreen #rubbish #litter
