In terms of character design, here are some my favorite examples from my pdf portfolio !

Character design page for a monster made of twisting birch trees. It has no face, but instead two hollow tree trunks.
On the left, there are small idea sketches, and below it are references of bugs and trees.

Character design page for a monster made of twisting birch trees. There are a few variants here, with longer necks, splitting faces/necks, or just a pale protrusion.

Character design page for a knight with mainly grey, green, and gold colors. Sword and armor variants.

Character design page for a wild west outlaw. She's a woman dressed in earthy and red tones, with long brown hair, a hat, a gun, and a sword. There are some references, a WANTED poster, and a bison mount she could ride on to transport her gold and trinkets.
