These distinctions are empirically evident in parties’ platforms: 🔹Essentialist women’s parties = higher emphasis of democratic & civil rights & economic redistribution 🔹Feminist parties = greater emphasis on gender-based violence & transnational issues e.g., climate, asylum & foreign policy
