The basic-level advantage suggests that semantic information is preferentially accessed (faster, more accurate) at the basic level of a concept (e.g., dog), rather than at the superordinate (e.g., animal) or subordinate level (e.g., labrador). 1/  #PsychSciSky #AcademicSky #semanticMemory
