A fabulous end to the @blalib.org conference today, ending with a keynote on kindess by Helen Rimmer. Big thanks to the committee who did a wonderful job of organising it, and the University of Stirling for hosting. It's been great. Until next time.... #bla25

What's not to love about attending a conference where you get to sample the local Gin? #bla25 #stirlinggin #gindistillery

A group of five ladies gathered around some gin distillers listening to someone talk about the process.

My hand holding a miniature bottle of Stirling tropical Gin liquor. The contents of the bottle is pale yellow. Behind is a hotel window and beige curtain, slightly out of focus.

Leeds Beckett has stopped doing library inductions, and UWE is about to do the same. Embedded sessions aligned to module outcomes have been more successful #BLA25

Dr David Telford of University of Stirling Library welcomes us #BLA25 UoS, founded in 1967, is just a few years older than the BLA. Dramatic shifts have occurred in librarianship since the 1970s.

I've arrived at the beautiful University of Stirling for the 2025 Business Librarians Association 50th anniversary conference. It's my first time attending, and I have to say I couldn't have met a nicer bunch of people. Time to forget about my 4 a.m start and enjoy! #BLA25 #universityofstirling

New year, new job. I am now officially the Information Manager (Academic Librarian) supporting the Hertfordshire Business School at the University of Hertfordshire. I'll be out of my comfort zone, but surely that's a good thing every now and then? Bring it on 💪
