Find the frogs.

A photograph of a forest floor covered in rotting leaves with the odd green leafy plant sticking up through the otherwise brown and tan image. A tiny brown and white frog sits camouflaged among the fallen leaves.

A second photograph of a forest floor covered in rotting leaves with the odd green leafy plant sticking up through the otherwise brown and tan image. We had a ton of leftovers at work when I left. Rice, beans, roasted chicken, bbq chicken, etc. Today, all that's left is a few wraps and cheese. I am reduced to eating a pile of shredded pepper jack with a fork.

A small plate with a pile of shredded pepper jack cheese. A small plastic fork lies next to the pile on the plate.

Ken H. @lostphrack.bsky.social · 28/12/2025

I don't remember where I found this, but I've had it for a while now. Anyway, accurate.

Holy shit, found this at my LCS. It was on the shelf for the cover price, $15. Pretty much mint condition. The woman at the register thinks it must have come from a collector because it’s pretty much mint. It’s from 95!!! 🤯

Please stop.

A screen shot of a weather app displaying the temperature in a red circle on the left, with cloud cover and wind speed on the right. The red circle displays today's low as 75, with today's high as 92. Beneath that in the circle is the current temperature, 93, and beneath that is a "feels like" temperature of 114.

Ken H. @lostphrack.bsky.social · 15/07/2025

Why?

A screen shot of a weather app showing the temperature for the posters unknown location. The predicted temperature is listed at the top of a circle as 88/72, with the current temperature beneath that listed as 95, and the "feels like" temperature beneath that listed at 118. On the right side of the image is an icon of the sun behind a cloud, and beneath that an icon indicating no wind speed or breeze.

Ken H. @lostphrack.bsky.social · 27/06/2025

But, then what do I do with all these????

A picture of my book shelf and a small pile of books in front of it. Visible turtles include Never Whistle at Night, The Nightmare, Junji Ito’s Uncanny, and Hillary Chute’s Why Comics? The other titles are too small to read.

"What makes Reservation Dogs so groundbreaking is also what probably makes it difficult to find an audience beyond the critics," says Coates. "People tend to watch TV for the comfort of the familiar. When you have a show about the quotidian nature of life on a reservation, there's a bigger barrier to entry for many viewers. While I think that's what makes the show brilliant, I wonder if viewers need bigger set-pieces, more bombastic sequences, more digestible comedy."
