So, we need carrots, potatoes, and onion as vegetables. Stewmeat as the meat. Apple to add in a bit of sweetness which I can grate. A slow cooker- or a crock-pot whatever the people call it. It has to be filled with water. Then leave it to cook.

I understand, and I do agree... I've been meaning to do a hearty warm meal for Christmas since it's winter after all. But I also wanted to do it with someone... to make it special. The best I've mostly done was made cookies anyways... or other baked goods...
