"When the Sky Falls" set in the #FaroeIslands. Helping the #BlueSkyArtShow celebrate a year of Saturday challenges with my #OpenHouse image. I loved the constantly changing skies & weather systems over there; this turned out to be one of my fav images from 2024. #clouds so low you could touch them.

High view over Easter Island (Rapa Nui). There have been some tragically harsh weather conditions this summer. My heart breaks for all those who have lost loved ones, both human & animal, & to those who have seen homes destroyed/swept away, & all the memories & memorabilia that go with them.

Hard news coming out of the North Rim at Grand Canyon. My thought go out to all those affected by the fire that has consumed the historic Grand Canyon Lodge. This is what wildfire smoke looks like from the air. This was a fire in 2019, smoke above Sedona originated 20 miles away. Very sad news.
