iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

It would just be nice to be wanted. For someone to actually have a crush on me, too.

I’m not expecting to find my future partner tomorrow. I’d be okay if someone gave me a chance and it didn’t work out.

Lorien Lucero @lorienluce.ro · 03/10/2026

But it’s discouraging on a level that seriously affects my self esteem that no one has even wanted to give me a chance. And it seems there’s little chance that’s going to change any time soon.

I’m pretty much the only person I know who can’t even get a date. For others their problems are things like bad partners or dates not treating them as actual people worthy of connection. And that genuinely sucks, too.

I’m posting this here because I have very few followers here and posting here sometimes feels like shouting into the void. And right now that’s what I need. I have another crush on a girl who I’m 95% sure doesn’t feel the same way and isn’t going to.

They did not HAVE to learn it that way. Okay? They didn't have to. That's what we're so angry about, dipshit. If someone drives drunk and kills a person, you wouldn't just say "Well, now he knows better, let him off the hook, it was one mistake, he'll never forget it."

Sometimes The Pink Opaque feels more real than real life.

Plus the books themselves are So. Freaking. Good. Now I need to read all her other series, too.

Y'all, I think I have an author crush. I’ve honestly never had one of those before… Samantha Shannon, a queer fantasy writer. Listening to an interview with her after the end of the second audiobook in the Roots of Chaos cycle…she’s so smart, and nerdy, and…ugh, I can’t even.

I wish The Pink Opaque was a real TV show. The chemistry between Isabel and Tara just in those few clips we see… I really want to see more of it.

I'm so tired of wrangling with insurance companies and healthcare providers. Especially in a system that's not built to accommodate trans people and our specific medical needs. The amount of things I have to do to get all of this covered is just ridiculous.

Finally finished the story. The ending needs some work, but overall I'm pretty happy with it. I think Elderberry Wine might be the best thing I've ever written.

Okay. I just finished writing all the chapters for my story that I had plot ideas for. I have no ideas left. The climax has been written and I'm pretty satisfied with it, for a first draft at least. But I still have to find a way to tie all of this up.

It's a sequel to a novella that ended up being about 40,000 words, so I kind of assumed they'd be about equal length, but I'm only halfway to that word count and so far I've already got through 2/3rds of the basic plot I had imagined, so I have no idea what this one is going to end up being.

There's something about hearing Rebecca Sugar's singing and ukulele playing that makes me a bit nostalgic for the earliest days of my transition, as painful as that period of my life was. There was something pure and hopeful in those days that I hope to recover, one of these days…

Well, it's officially been over a year since I started hormones. Hard to believe the time has flown by so fast when it's so often felt like it was crawling at a snail's pace. I'm so grateful for everything this past year has brought me, and I can't wait to see what year two has in store.
