this is the frustrating thing about having a lot of trauma. after awhile when too much has happened people stop believing you because how can so much happen to one person but it does and it did. the unhoused and gender-nonconforming and activists with family in oxymoron work are esp vulnerable.

of course i lashed out. if it was just my ego that’d be fine. i can handle that. i am fine with feedback and boundaries but that requires communication. ghosting me in an emergency when a lot of people were in danger and still are—that’s what made me lose it a bit.

i didn’t go to him as a journalist. i went to him because i thought he was also a comrade with specific research experience on these situations but white boy couldn’t handle the discomfort and he didn’t want to be inconvenienced before his vacation. that was his priority, not Indigenous lives.

it felt like robert ignored my panic texts when i couldn‘t get ahold of anyone, because they were all back on the rez with no reception, forty minutes after he asked “yeah is everything ok now” when the situation escalated because he would have been fine with us all dying. that’s why it hurt so much
