Today's #FridayFind a compass which belonged to Reverend Athanasius Aud; it has an inscription bearing his name on the back of the wood case. The compass dates back to the early 19th century,is set in wood with a metal bezel and glass crystal, measures 3" in diameter and still functions accurately!

Terry Hudson, alumnus of Loretto Academy, created this Oregon Trail map in 1998 for the Discovery Trails Project of Accessible Arts in Kansas City, MO. Eleanor Craig SL ran the project and the braille map was used to make the Oregon Trail visible to visually impaired teenagers. #BrailleLiteracy
