Commissions are officially closed for an indeterminate amount of time!! I started work yesterday and it's been great so far, though I gotta get used to working fulltime again. OTL Now I get to focus on making art for myself, which means more Chisse and Swain heheheheee

I actually decided Lore's getting more color variants. : D She's keeping her original two palettes, but the grey/periwinkle blue will be her main palette from now on. Also, additional green/brown variant for funsies!

I wanted to change some stuff up with Lore, and started messing with her hair color. I settled on grey/periwinkle blue/white and was super happy with how it looked! I'm keeping the white/blue/cyan combo still, but this'll be her main look. uvu ALSO PEEP THE NEW WATERMARK

I am so so glad I finally found a doctor that takes me seriously and listens to my concerns, but I've received a few diagnoses that I wasn't expecting and it has been,,, a ride. :' ) You're telling me It was actually severe OCD and I'm NOT a horrible human being? Preposterous.

@artfight.net please consider changing this rule. Tons of artists (beginners, professionals and all in between) rely on 3D models and photos to create artwork with accurate proportions in a short time frame. Art fight encourages a consistent stream of artwork that benefits from these resources. (1/)

5. Bases, character creators, and dollmakers may be used for character images, but must be credited. They may not be used for attacks.

a. This includes websites like Picrew, HeroForge, video game character creators, and other doll makers.
b. This includes artwork traced from poseable 3D models (such as Clip Studio Paint, Design Doll, and similar programs), self-made bases, and photographs you have taken.

Commission WIP! Drawing exposed bones is a lot of fun :> [ #CommissionWork | #CommissionWIP | #CommissionsOpen ]

A commission WIP showing the line art of the lower half of Twist, a character made and owned by BearsAndBaubles. Twist has a "missing" lower torso; exposing the purple coloring of their flesh, a section of their lumbar spine, and the upper ridges of their pelvic/hip bones that connects their upper and lower body!

I love and respect artists. I just think more artists need to view their work as a business. It's very unprofessional for an artist to shit talk their clients openly and name drop them. They can vent. But to negatively impact their clients who spent hundreds or more is messed up over petty drama.
