N°21_A Perfect Moment - 15,5x18,5cm - Oil on Gesso Board . Some years ago I went to dolomites and hiked to these amazing peaks. During the night I took a photo with the milky way perfectly aligned with them and now I decided to give it a try with oils and block this perfect moment.

N°12_Le Cinque Torri, Dolomiti - 19x11cm - Oil on Gesso Board . I quite like how this moody one came out. Still find it difficult to carve some details but I guess I just need to start painting bigger. If only Dolomites would be nearer...they're full of incredible shapes waiting to be painted.

N°16_Bitabergh - 14,5x14,5cm - Oil on Gesso Board . I really like this small lake in the Alps and come back here once in a while. All the woods around it have nice hidden vistas and spots that deserve to be painted. This will sure be a recurring location in my paintings.

Yesterday workshop live demo with La Galería Roja . Day one was dedicated to the sketch starting from the rough comp idea, moving into a quick greyscale and finishing then in a color sketch. Today I'll show how to paint on this and move into a more rendered and refined image.

Virtual Plein Air done using an old photo I took in...can you recognise the city? I want to come back there! When I was there, it was August I think, the area around the river was covered in spiderwebs and big spiders. Completely covered ._. it was fascinating. Here a photo of one of those too.

This is one of my favourite images among the ones I painted. After I did it my brain started to imagine a new world shaped around these three characters. Problem is that there's not enough time for everything, sure not enought to work on a project like this. Maybe one day, maybe never.
