Today marks the official end of Cerebral September on my YouTube channel and after so many serious deduction games, full of mystery and murder, and some war crimes, might as well close it all out with something lighthearted. Duck Detective: the Ghost of Glamping youtu.be/iWOgEtL1C3I

Might do a little video later on talking about my favourite bosses. But we'll see.

000

Kevin Kutlesa @loremasterkev.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

With that said, there were bosses I beat as Ninja. If it was super fast, had allies or just had numerous forms of AoE that were hard to avoid or deflect effectively, that was Ninja time. Perfect examples are Takeda Shingen fight 2 and Tokugawa Yoshinobu. Too annoying to fight as Samurai

101

Kevin Kutlesa @loremasterkev.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Finished #Nioh3 and every time I looked online, the consensus was to use Ninja for the vast majority of the bosses, and yet I beat most of them, including the final boss, in Samurai mode. And it's odd 'cause I went full Ninja in Nioh 1 & 2 specifically because I sucked playing any other style.

With Nihon Falcom releasing #TrailsintheSky2nd, the remake of Trails in the Sky SC, it's the best time to grab a quick summary of events so you're ready to play the game. Fortunately for you, I got one of those ready to go! And I got it in two formats: 50min and 15min, whichever you prefer!

Dolly and Curry gone back to back. What a loss. Legends of our time, their stories and performances, musical and otherwise, as timeless as the most famous of Greek myths. And their impact on my mind, my creativity, my way of life...I struggle to find the words.

000

Kevin Kutlesa @loremasterkev.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

I call it the "there's always an expense" factor. Even if your plans are to save as much money as you can, for any plan, for any reason, the world will concoct some situation to make you spend

010

Kevin Kutlesa @loremasterkev.bsky.social · 06/08/2026

Well, just put in my first ever copyright dispute on YouTube. Someone claimed their gameplay video of their playthrough of a game I did a retrospective on, is the copyright holder for that game footage, and the bits they claimed are cutscenes. Like WTF?

000

Kevin Kutlesa @loremasterkev.bsky.social · 25/07/2026

I can only hope that even if it's FF7, there's some connection to the ongoing story, even if it's that we're dealing with another reflection. I hope it's not like the Ff11 alliance raid with its messy narrative

010

Kevin Kutlesa @loremasterkev.bsky.social · 25/07/2026

Yeah, I would have preferred only one collab. With that said with both the last game in the remakes coming out next year and that also being the 30th anniversary of the original FF7, I'm not surprised they went for it. But yeah, I would have liked an original story set in the 4th.

010

Kevin Kutlesa @loremasterkev.bsky.social · 22/07/2026

I've been writing the same script for a retrospective video for like 5 weeks. But this week I NEED to get it done...After all, I still have 3 more to do after that. Not to mention draft up some ideas on some primers I've been thinking about, on some games that overload new players with terminology

000

Kevin Kutlesa @loremasterkev.bsky.social · 22/07/2026

On the upside, we may end up with a sleep deprived Geekenders episode and that can only be funnier

000

Kevin Kutlesa @loremasterkev.bsky.social · 22/07/2026

I'm both intrigued and horrified...I'm horrifigued

010

Kevin Kutlesa @loremasterkev.bsky.social · 24/06/2026

But I can't seem to figure out what is causing it, and I've gone through every possible combination of changing buffer sizes and quality settings so that apps match the Procaster 2 settings and still nothing. So any advice or help would be appreciated!

000

Kevin Kutlesa @loremasterkev.bsky.social · 24/06/2026

When I change the routing on the Procaster 2 to listen to myself, the audio is clean. It's only on applications, like OBS, Audacity, Zoom, etc. I changed the settings on windows to listen to the mic, and it's definitely Windows-side only.

Kevin Kutlesa @loremasterkev.bsky.social · 24/06/2026

Posting this here in case anyone's run into this issue. Got a Rode Podcaster mic and a Rode Procaster 2 setup. Everything was fine, sound was awesome. Then suddenly, all my recording and such started having this weird crakle, it's not too bad, but it's there.

Easy, analog tech, you buy it, you own it. Everything digital these days is a subscription. You don't really even own your games anymore. Since you're getting PS classics, you ever play Nightmare Creatures?
