So, on the day this week that I had several appointments and lots of walking to do between bus stops, I got down 5k words (dictated on my phone). On days I've been in the office, the total has been around 1/3 of that. Maybe I need to go on a walking tour to get this draft finished.

I'm considering Kona (big whitish dog) and Marlo (little Yorkie) my fractional dogshare. I get the dogs two afternoons a week (and my neighbor, who's in school, gets someone to walk the dogs when she can't be home). They are extremely good for my mental health.

I like to be entertained every minute I'm awake. I'm always watching, listening, or reading. So I'm amazed that I'm able to spend an hour in the pool with no external input, just me and my brain, and come out refreshed, yet it happens every time.

I love little free libraries. I especially love that there are bookshelves in train stations where travelers can exchange books. My TBR (both print and ebook) is stuffed to the gills, but I couldn't resist bringing back a stack of romances (and one mystery) from my train trip on Monday.
