@pentragon-zei.bsky.social is absolutely cracked and dropped art on me outside of ArtFight 🥹♥️ Going to be posting some tidbits about each of them in the replies from my main account so it gets bumped up there but AHHHH

A picture of Steve and a snow leopard in front of a dragon decorated rigid mailer. Steve looks like a buff man but with a clownfish for a head inside of an upside down round fish bowl. He sparkles with excitement! A little note on the snow leopard says plot payoff.

Four of my characters, as drawn by Penta.

Starting at the top rotating right: Niya-Niya (half tabaxi), Etia (half tabaxi), Mirsisi (aasimar) and Song (human). It's titled Lorekeeper Tales and is accented with purple.

Good blorbo hyperfixation aaaa behaviour. A couple of things I think were a frame or so off but I have work later today so HERE'S MIRSISI. (Again because somehow the first time I posted this, it had no sound... Which defeats the purpose lol) #CalicoCocoaArt #OCSky #OriginalCharacter

Me: Wouldn't it be cool to do a take on まにまに with one of my archers? Also me: Ah yes, this is why I didn't take animation. It's all coming back to me. #CalicoCocoaArt

A work-in-progress of Mirsisi Beaucoup readying a bow and arrow. There are different stages of getting ready to fire the arrow sketched over top, mainly focusing on where the arms and hands are.

A doodle of Callie is crying in the background saying "I am dying..." I assure you I am fine, but my sanity might not be by the time I'm done this illustration.

William Black and Corvin, William's raven familiar 🐦‍⬛ I think the next time I have a chance to do my monthly short story speedrun, I'll do William next! #Sketch #CalicoCocoaIllust #OCart

A short haired young man who looks like he's in his late trees. He has short hair and is wearing a mage's cloak and a leather arm brace. Sitting atop the brace is raven.

#WIP character sheet of my OC, Matilda! I wanted to do a little turnaround for her since I wanted to try making little portraits/sprites and I am awful at remembering to add things (like that plaster missing from her side view LMAO). #CalicoCocoaIllust #OCSky #OriginalCharacter

A mostly finished turnaround character reference for Matilda. She's a young girl with brunette hair and brown eyes wearing rain boots, a rain jacket, shorts and a small pendant on her left chest that vaguely resembles a fairy. She has two plasters on her legs.

valentines day vibes during april 😩

A close-up sketch of Callie's OC, Song. She's holding up both her hands to her cheeks while blushing and is longingly looking at something.

It's been a while since I've posted these two dorks and in that time my drawing style has morphed once more LMAO

A sketch of Song and El. El is sitting on the ground and Song crouches in front of him, holding a hand out to help him up.

Enjoy Heat Abnormal × my OC Mirsisi Would he absolutely hate it in that timeline/song? Absolutely, but that doesn't mean I don't love a whole song dedicated to someone's dying message :') #CalicoCocoaIllust #OriginalCharacter #OCArt

The finished illustration of the sketch from the previous post. It features Mirsisi and his tiny drake, Pelt, as comets shoot through the sky behind him.

Mirsisi stands, holding a recorder in his right hand, and starts to put it down as he looks at the viewer. He's a dark skinned man with long dark hair pulled up into a messy bun behind his head. He has heterochromia with one golden eye and one silver eye. He's wearing a white jacket with green accents and a golden emblem of a bow and arrows over his left chest.

Pelt, the small drake perched on Mirsisi's shoulders, has a very long tail and is light blue, almost white. He has various crystalline shards jutting out of its head and on its forearms.

Trying to get back into character illusts after being chained to doing architecture drawings for the past half a year. Might finish this one, might not. Depends how addicted I will be to Heat Abnormal (inspo for the illust) in a week 😩 #CalicoCocoaIllust #WIP

Sketch of a man holding a recorder and looking down at the viewer. A long creature is perched on his shoulders.

I've come to realize that I don't know how to panel properly so I'm using mostly two panel pages to try and understand how action flows panel to panel. Hope to have more time to work on this before the end of the year 🫣

Four comic page thumbs, mostly in two panels. There are rough sketches over the pages, with only the bottom panel of the first page being outlined with dialogue.

Work-in-progress of Song! This one's going to be a print (if I can finish it in time for a group order 🫣)

A very rough sketch of Song holding an umbrella.

Maps Are My Prison--Passion, I mean passion. Building and road assets from 2-Minute Tabletop

A map of an island town. There are two beaches, one to the west and the other to the south, as well as a farm and residential housing.

Song and El sitting on the bed. Both of them have their hair down and are wearing their nightwear. Song lovingly wraps her arm around El, drawing circles with her left hand on his chest and leans on his shoulder. El abashedly closes his eyes and places his hand on her arm.

A little map I made (heavily) referencing IRL island formations. Can you tell which ones? I'm hoping to have more campaigns set in this area because A) I love island settings and B) if I must suffer learning boat mechanics, so must my players LMAO #dnd #5e #fantasymaps

A map of the fictional location The Pintail Domain. The area has island clusters that protrude outwards like the four cardinal directions of a compass. In the middle is a large island called Mare Speculo. To the east are the Cyclo Islands, to the south are the Diatoma Isles, to the west are the Tectosi Islands and to the north are Soros Isles. One of the islands within Soros isles is highlighted.

Staring at Limbus and DD artwork made lineart go brrr. Enjoy younger angi Niya with thick lines. #CalicoCocoaArt

Niya glares at the viewer with his cat ears turned downwards. He has fire red hair and fur and golden eyes.

I'm not used to drawing older men but here was my attempt! He's 36, which isn't that old but he sure is Tired™

A waist up illustration of Mirsisi Beaucoup. He has dark skin, unkempt black hair, a five o'clock shadow and wears a light coloured pelt with fur along the edges. His eyes are heterochromatic with his left eye being golden yellow and his right being dark grey. An emblem of a hawk is carved onto a golden round emblem.

A sketch of Niya and one of his kids, Estella ✨ Estella and the other kiddos are actually my friend's OCs but now they get to be a happy little family at the guild together.

Estella sits on Niya's lap and the two are reading a book. As she's going through it, Niya casts magic to create butterflies flying out.

Can I quintuple cross edgey lore or traumatic backstory for additional bingos? 😂

Calico Cocoa's filled out OC Bingo card. She has two bingos for the middle column and the second row from the top.

OC lore train! Explain the lore, but badly. Feral cat boy is flashbanged from a shadow realm into a forest. He's adopted by a pack of wolves. Then he was adopted again, this time by an info guild. Born to hunt, forced to learn etiquette and become a "handler" for the guild.

Niya-Niya, a half tabaxi with long red hair and red fur, leans back within the confines of the rectangular box (image) he's in. His golden eyes gleam as he strokes a large black wolf that growls at the viewer. Niya-Niya is mostly human in appearance, save for his cat-like irises, cat ears on the top of his head, his red cat tail that splits onto two at the end and his long nails.

Redraw :D Fun fact: because she's known to just wander off when her brother, Magni, isn't looking, he added bells to her things, including her shoes. Much to his disdain, she actually enjoys the bells and often dances around him to annoy him.

Etia, a brunette half-tabaxi with green eyes, looks at the viewer confidently with her hand placed over her chest. She has her hair done up in loose pigtails that hang over her shoulders. Her tabaxi features are her cat ears on top of her head and her fluffy brown tail.

Wow I can actually say #ThrowbackThursday and mean it for real LOL. This is Etia of the Ashen Wilds (2021), one of my DMPCs because I wanted to cause a little chaos. She's a little gremlin that will jump into the the ocean to catch all the shrimp if someone's willing to cook it for her.

Etia of the Ashen Wilds. Half-tabaxi, bard. She is sketched out as a small girl with her hair done up in pigtails, cat ears on the top of her head and a fluffy little tail curled around her leg. Smaller chibi doodles are to the side, showing her in Inopportune Situations.

A close up of one of the Inopportune Situations. Etia is very says "no shrimp" as she looks off into the middle distance.

Since reposting her old art here, I figured I'd give her an updated look! Still #WIP but I'll maybe finish this one up later when it's not midnight lol. PS - I know the electric bass guitar is wrong, but I already merged the lineart so... I guess that gets to be eternally wrong 🫣

A partially finished character sheet featuring Melody Lockhart. To the right is a coloured illustration of her holding a bass guitar case in her right hand, with her left propped on her hip. Devil horns and wings have been doodled over her.

Another oldie from 2019, back when I (painfully) used vectors to draw people 🙃 Meet Corvin and Cathal, aka Kat. With a k so they aren't referring to just any old cat.

Corvin sits in a chair backwards, leaning his arms on the back. He's wearing gloves and casts magic with a wand in his right hand, creating smoke plumes behind him. At his feet is Kat, a small black cat wearing a red ribbon around his neck, stands at attention and looks towards the viewer.

Melody is one of two moods at any moment: ✨selfie time✨ or 🔥FIGHT ME🔥 Ash unfortunately gets to deal with both. #CalicoCocoaArt #CalicoCocoaDoodles

Ash holds Melody back by the arms as she screams at someone out of frame "Say that to my face, COWARD!" Ash says "Calm down, Mel. Please..."

More Melody art! This time with her brother, Ash. Another old piece from The Before Times. Fun fact: Both siblings really love reading! But Melody's into YA fantasy and light novels while Ash enjoys historical fiction with a side of political intrigue.

Chibis of Melody and Ash Lockhart. He furrows his brows as he's interrupted from reading his book while Melody uses Ash's head to lean on. She strikes a pose, smiling at the viewer.
