My poor pear tree started blooming but aphids ate the flowers before I could find an organic spray to use to get rid of them. I've heard dawn dish soap and red peppers or something else? Anyone have tips on getting rid of aphids without adding poison to the environment?

Nasturtium growing very nicely. I just poked some seeds into the ground near my swamp color drainage and hoped for the best. Might as well have something beneficial growing instead of more tumbleweeds.

I planted sunchokes and nasturtium near each other. I hope they are good friends. Some many interactions between plants. I should be smarter and research what each takes and gives to ensure they work well together. But I didn't think either would survive let alone both!

Rocks surround small sunchokes sprouts coming out of the ground. Closer to the wall a small nasturtium can be seen with small leaves.

We usually don't buy each other anything for Valentine's Day but this year my wife got me the most amazing gift. Hero Quest! I remember playing this when I was a kid, me and my brother and my dad as the DM. I don't have a lot of good childhood memories but that was one of them. Thank you my love 😘.
