Also, this arrived. I am extremely precious about it!

I don’t know why I keep coming back to making lifts of roses. They always seem to fight me!

There’s just something alchemical, ghostly, about the images.

Well, if I can’t print today, maybe I should get back on my Polaroid nonsense?

I have a very exciting plate coming that I honestly fell in love with and probably overpaid for but I think is going to be my invoice design. (It’s about 6x4in)

Moments like this make me feel so gloriously small and insignificant in an enormous, beautiful universe. If I’m this small, that must mean my problems are even smaller, right?

Now… this wasn’t the colour combination I had had in mind, I just wanted to try the cursed forme with proper ink and had a roller with Prussian Blue on already… but the more I look at it the more I like it? Maybe with gold details?

Quite possibly my first genuinely cursed forme. I have the greatest of possible doubts that this can ever be made printable (and someone for the love of all that is holy please make me write down what all the fonts are before I forget!)
Type set in sort of a circle, on a curve. All kinds of type. It is a horror show.

The print itself (inking, impression) still needs a bit of work but I’m happy with this for a quick set up based on the crotchety selection of fonts of type in my collection.

There are a couple of possible colours here. I’m still not convinced this card isn’t too far towards teal but beggars can’t be choosers. If I get the colours right it might yet work.
