When setting up my business with Companies House it asked me what I was- I felt like putting CEO was far too up myself. I ended up using Director instead. But honestly I feel like there’s no good title when you start a small business. Why am I giving myself a title? I’m me. I know what I do.

Web designer here. Wix and Squarespace sites are awful. They’re slow, unoptimised and utter chaos behind the code. It’s like the fast food of websites. Independent businesses should get a freelance dev instead. You spend far much more on reoccurring subscriptions than you would with a real dev.

ALT text on social media fascinates me. It seems only recently have people started to actively add ALT text on images BUT- ALT text on the internet is almost as old as HTML itself. When I was learning web development my lecturer would point out every single image that didn’t include ALT text.
