Old games used to trade resolution for color. That meant the pixels in the graphics got bigger while pixels in the text remained small. Zombie Quest mimics this by scaling up the sprites. These images show how it is with and without scaling. #gamedev #indiegame #adventuregame

What pisses me off today: If I use @microsoft.com Copilot and it hallucinates a completely incorrect solution, it still counts towards my monthly consumption. Sometimes I need to cross examine it for it to even realize it is incorrect.

To boost quality of life for Zombie Quest you walk faster when you hold down the left Ctrl key. But only the left one to raise the #skillcap for #speedrun strats. Time it right or use a toe! And there is no "zipping" like in King's Quest. #gamedev
