Demon Slayer D&D was, as always, just so much fun. We fought lower rank 1, and a lot of the encounter wasn’t traditional combat but very fun and roleplay heavy. We ended with chasing him off barely escaping us… but the demon king will be Very Displeased with his failure. That’ll be fun

The party made it through the preliminary rounds in the cage match fight. The main event with the boss proper? That’s next session That’s 10 ogres, 4 giant animated armors, 2 flail snails, and 2 stone giants all buffed up a bit from core stats that they cleaved through. All PCs healthy. Fun time

When I ran Tyranny of Dragons, I made Blagothkus a WWE wrestler bro and made him a knock off Macho Man Randy Savage. Today in Storm King’s Thunder, my players face him again as different characters (though the giant hasn’t figured that part out yet). The cages have closed and locked, the bell rung.
