Remember a few years back when we were all talking about how discoverability was such a big challenge? The future was laughing at us. Cackling, even.

It’s happening. Oxford Street is going traffic-free on Monday 26 October. The transformation of the nation’s high street into a world-class pedestrianised space will begin in earnest four weeks from today.

From Hounslow to Hendon, without the detour. The proposed West London Orbital would create a new passenger rail link, unlock 25,000+ homes, support thousands of jobs, improve air quality and help cut congestion. Have your say in our public consultation now: haveyoursay.tfl.gov.uk/west-london-...
Map showing the proposed London Overground West London Orbital rail service. The route runs north to south from Hendon, Brent Cross West, Neasden (new station), Harlesden (new station), Old Oak Common Lane (new station), Acton Central, South Acton, Lionel Road (new station), Brentford, Syon Lane, Isleworth and Hounslow. Interchange connections are shown to the Jubilee, Bakerloo, Central, Mildmay and Elizabeth lines, plus National Rail services and airport links. Stations and routes are subject to consultation and further planning.

It might depend on the agreement between the two parties. If formulated accordingly, Sheeran could have been in the wrong. From the legal point of view of course. The morality of it is a different discussion.

Maybe. We don't know yet. We couldn't ever know how successful a Zelda port for PC would be.

Ah... Wish I could figure out what I should actually cope about, lol. If they want to port their games, they are welcome but they must respect PC players' constraints and practices. If they don't, it's their loss.

This. You can never tell what Sony management decides. They are refraining on porting their games on PC AT THE MOMENT. It's perfectly possible they will revert their decision in 1 year time (or even less).

Threats intensify against Israeli directors of Gaza documentary NAZA
Rights groups express support for directors of Guardian-produced film facing threats from Israeli ministers and far-right activists • ‘They know the house they are bombing is full of children’: NAZA’s directors on their devastating film about Israeli intelligence Threats by the Israeli military, government ministers and far-right activists have intensified against the Oscar-winning Israeli directors of NAZA, a documentary about the country’s mass killing of civilians in Gaza, as 43 local human rights organisations expressed their support for the pair. NAZA, which was produced by the Guardian, is named for an acronym used euphemistically by Israel’s intelligence service to indicate how many civilians it expects to die in an airstrike on Gaza. The film builds on revelations first published by the Israeli-Palestinian publication +972 Magazine, the Hebrew-language outlet Local Call and the Guardian between 2023 and 2025. Continue reading...
