"Why does my Discord notification sound echo-y?" Because they force it on you every Halloween without asking and you have to manually go in and turn it off. Go to User Settings > Notifications > Sounds > "Enable Halloween Sound Pack" and uncheck it

If it's not obvious on paper that you're going to gain from a partnership, you're probably not going to gain. "Just trust me, bro" is not a business plan. Most of these just prey on small naive streamers. Similar to how music labels exploit artists that think they have to sign with a label etc

(I despise the average Tool fan) but there's a stretch of songs on Lateralus that lift me up. songs: Lateralus, Parabol -> Parabola, and Disposition -> Reflection. Two of those run into each other and I consider them one song. It's a hard first listen but once you feel the rhythm it's peak

It's totally fine to put money into a hobby that you're going to get enjoyment from. Making something you care about be exactly what you want it to be has inherent value TO YOU. It does not have to be an investment that you weigh directly against the money it will make you back.

I think giving away monetary rewards is too strong in this spot. A month from now, it's going to cost you $80-100 just to go live for people that are already showing up. Recognition for their streaks should be enough.
