My older guy is pretty deaf but my younger one parks herself by my feet and trembles the tremble of her chihuahua lineage. And yes, she’s a mix. I’d dial back on fosters and let him have some peace and quiet, but he really enjoys it. Puppies, though more work for me are a better fit for them. It was almost like she'd been waiting for a suitable replacement so the "baby boy" in the middle wouldn't be by himself. Enter a stout, middle aged pit who seemed stern but was really just a quiet, no-drama tank. All gone now. 010 0

I brought her to LACMA, and The Huntington Botanical Gardens, and Art's Deli in Studio City for a pastrami sandwich. Then I packed one of my dog's cremains in with her so she wouldn't be alone. 030 0
