I was 11. I recall my family got up at around 4am to drive to Baltimore and take a bus to Ft McHenry for fireworks timed perfectly to end at the “dawn’s early light” to reveal our flag was still there. Plus I had this cool lunchbox. Pop culture was awash in this stuff.
