I’m sorry for your loss. My Tortie Girl is also a rescue cat. For some reason she took to me and brought me dead mice until I was able to convince her to move in, after she lost all her canine teeth. I have no clue how old she is now but Im her human now.

just found out my girl has a really bad gum and tooth infection yesterday. She never complains but I noticed different behavior. She’s on medication until the ve can do dental surgery and cleaning. it may have destroyed her lacrimal duct but we have to wait and see how she recovers.

Mine slaps me on the face in the middle of the night, when she wants me to pet her. She stands on my chest and whacks me on my face until I wake up and pet her. This is her watching cats on the television!

This is my favorite tree for 23 years. A true story of survival! I n spite of weather and cattle using it as a scratching post. It’s at the top of a small hill near the road. I’m older now and appreciate the fact that as gnarly as it is, it still survives.

My girl rescue dog was so damaged and fly bitten when she broke free from a pig leg trap. Today she’s got an active tail that wags constantly! She also herds the rescue cats

One last note before I leave to celebrate paying off the mortgage. This is a Moa. They also call them Red Jungle Fowl. Different from chickens but still so like them. The tail gives him away. The Polynesian Voyagers brought them here on their voyages. They are feral.

So lucky to have several Avocado trees. Guacamole 9 months out of the year. Wanting to try an avocado 🥑 pie next. Mr. Morishigi‘s wife used to make them. I never tasted one, but I make a mean avocado ice cream! Have a good one time to get going!
