Our little town in very red Texas, started a petition in March to recall the new city council for approving 6 planned data centers. The petition was denied by the city because many signatures didn’t include the city name in their address as per Texas law.

I didn’t realize the program was that old. It’s a very large and integral part of the Texas education system. For some kids, Headstart is the only consistent thing they have in their life.

I voted for Crockett, sad she didn’t get the nomination, but I am 100% behind Talarico. I honestly don’t know anyone that is not willing to vote for him. This is bigger than one person. It’s a blue wave.

Well said. The biggest problem with Texas is not lack of blue voters. It’s the lack of blue voters, voting. I worked the Dem tent at primary polls, I assure you that is changing. I had several Republicans come out from the polls and let me know that they are now “single issue voters.”
