1 year later, and i've finally finished it. phew... i do not have the time for 40+ hour games anymore def not for everyone, a very jack-of-all trades sort of game, but i enjoyed it enough regardless

When translators say they hate doing MTPE because it's faster to just do it from scratch and results in better material, we're not exaggerating. If I was a proofreader and a translator handed me this, I would immediately tell the PM to fire them. No translation is genuinely better than an MT in loc.

actually seeing the game design proposals by a former PlatinumGames employee made me see how it's done, how the quality of my proposals or resumes back in the day was not up to snuff... if anything, how was I able to send such shoddy resumes to PG and stuff...

I think it's fine, it's not like mobile where each user can only play like 1-2 games at a time and play those perpetually. Play 10 or so hours, finish, and move on. You're not hurting the sales of any other game by doing that.
