((So, yeah. I'm… I'd probably be considered quirky. And I agree, I have worked hard to be truer to my emotions, even though I wouldn't say that I often follow my desires at all.
As for tending towards cutting edge and latest things… I don't think that is often me, actually. I rather almost avoid that realm because I dislike the [burden of eyes]. It starts to be truer when it says I grow bored of old things and like new things. But not necessarily that the thing needs to be NEW, it just needs to be novel to me, and I will be much more receptive to it. Especially if said novelty is something I feel I am able to discover on my own without others' emotions pre-muddled into it. And yeah, I get bored of anything and everything, BUT! But not forever!
