STEP TO ME, STEP TO ME (Gen, T, 2k) A dive bar, a metal gig, a brawl in the mosh pit—before Kayn’s Heartsteel debut, his brush with Kat’s band FirstBlood lands him in hot water with his own band The Vandals. Written for @lolmusiczine.bsky.social. 📚 archiveofourown.org/works/62554765 #TahWrites

He glanced over at Katarina slouched next to him, scowling as she held a wad of napkins to her bloodied mouth. Her knuckles were starting to swell. Kayn hadn’t heard whatever the drunk near the back had shouted near the end of FirstBlood’s set—Fortune’s amp stack had blown his expectations and his eardrums in short order—but he was close enough to see the tension ripple through Katarina’s jaw. Even Fortune had frowned, cutting her eyes over to the bouncer.

It’d happened fast. Katarina had been perched on her ego riser, then the microphone was dropping to the floor, she’d shouldered through the mosh pit, and Kayn hadn’t seen the punch land but he sure heard it.

Kat caught his look and grinned coldly. Nodded at the dried blood Kayn was scratching off his top lip. “That an actual break?”

Kayn thumbed his swollen nose, wincing. “Don’t think so. Not gonna be pretty in the morning, though.”

“You’re never pretty in the morning.”

Little comic I did for @lolmusiczine.bsky.social featuring Rell, Zeri, Seraphine, Gwen and Viego🤘😈 #leagueoflegends #bekkodraws

In the middle of a concert for Pentakill, Zeri, Rell, Gwen, and Seraphine are taking a selfie in the crowd in leathers and spikes.
The announcer: EVERYBODY MAKE SOME NOISE FOR THE NEXT ACT!!
Seraphine holding her phone out to the group in the first panel: Everybody say cheese <3

Second Panel, Zeri pointing to the back as Viego gets on the stage: "Hey, isn't that your old man on stage now, Gwen?"
Third panel, Gwen is crossing her arms huffing "He's not my "old man." He's just Isolde's ex or something."
Seraphine while posting the photo online remarks "That also still rooms with you two and treats you like a kid.

Fourth panel, Rell is pointing out "And since he does, this means we have a good shot at making him find us here, right"

Fifth: Rell shouts out his full name to get his attention as Viego was having a bit of a thank you monologue as artists does on stage
Viego spots out the group and points at them while saying "The next song is dedicated you!" mainly referring to the fans in general.

The next panel is Gwen's friends poking fun of her, "Gwen, look he's actually pointing this way!" "Don't be shy now." "Stop this is so embarrassing"
