added so much new stuff to lok.computer! there’s a new app that tracks my movie / TV show progress, plus some small style updates including a) 88x31 buttons, b) a cat chasing your cursor, and c) some cool CRT effects.

you can also choose to show your bookmarks in the header. (the browser’s “show bookmarks only on new tab” option doesn’t work with custom pages, so i just built that part in.)

it’s a way to bring up the blocks you’ve connected that you might have forgotten. every time i browse a long channel, i realize how easy it is to overlook older blocks, so this felt like a good way for them to resurface in a new tab.

Leon @lok.computer · 16/10/2025

i built abnt (are.na blocks new tab). it's a little chrome extension that replaces your new tab with @are.na blocks from your chosen channels. link → exa.ee/abnt

i'll call it `are.na blocks feed`. a minimalist thoughts feed that displays blocks from your @are.na channel (heavily inspired by thoughts.page) link: www.are.na/block/37614786
