This #automaton is my favourite from my recent show at The Craig Gallery. The lovely built-in score was composed and performed by Erin Donovan. Recording and sound mix by John D.S. Adams. #Submerged is 7’ x 4’ x 4’ and rolls on casters. #mechanicalart #kineticart #diver #artexhibition #lohifi

We remember. 35 years ago, 14 students were killed & many injured because they were women. Their lives were cut short by a man who blamed feminists for his failings. As we remember the victims at École Polytechnique, reflect too on the ongoing effects of gender-based violence and femicide.

Mechanical Moments – A Collection of Kinetic Art, Craig Gallery #Dartmouth Pick a simple memory — a handshake, standing on a golf course in the sun, diving off a wharf. What if you could build a machine that captured this moment using motors, gears, and small wooden figures? #kineticart #automatons

This poster for an art show has a thick wooden frame with a tiny wooden figures swimming down on a dark blue background.
