Finally! Enjoyed it so much. Loved the little shoutout during the end credits. So glad this got released (on the big screen).

These random German store names in Japan still always make me chuckle.

Bought some nice games today. It’s actually hard to find Games on release day here in Japan.

Es bräuchte nen Podcast mit den Leuten der KidsZone. Würde mich interessieren, wie viele Leute damals bei den Rankings gevotet haben 😮‍💨

Was cleaning out my childhood place and found some old magazines. Basically time travel. Wow.

Sony hates seeing this. (Jokes aside, physical media forever)

I can't help but think gaming is in a really, really, really bad place right now. Things like this, massive layoffs across the industry losing thousands of talented people who will never return, and the continual refocus on the Hollywoodification of games in general. I hate it.

Phew, I‘m usually all up for meta-humor and nostalgia and the first few Scary Movies really had quite some impact during my youth, but somehow, this comeback didn’t really work for me.

What struck me yesterday is that there really is a sort of clash between the "past and the future" these days. There are still some booths run by people who’ve probably been there since the early nineties, but then there are more and more of the younger folks you mentioned. It’s quite unique.

This really feels like old twitter in many ways. Problem is, I only remember a small fraction of the cool people I followed over there who may have left the platform some time ago. Will take some time to build another cool timeline I guess…

On a sidenote, I kinda like that the title of the film varies so much between countries. The German one is the weirdest, as usual.
