Yesterday, we had a very nice meet and greet reception at the Pasadena Masonic Temple, another hundred-year-old building.

We also have had a lot of good food, including whatever they call these things. I showed self-discipline and limited myself to just one.

Further into the conference Center, we have 59 breakout sessions that will be occurring over the course of 2 days (not pictured). We also have poster sessions from current grad students (pictured)

We're located just east of The 100-year-old Pasadena Civic Auditorium. A beautiful old building.

Pasadena Civic Auditorium. A multi-story building, done in Mediterranean revival style. There are few palm trees on each side.

Looking a bit to the east, we have part of the Pasadena Civic auditorium, and then the entrance to a glass building that is more modern, which is the Pasadena conference Center. That is where LOEX 2025 is being held.

Google, continuing its mediocre performance. - Search: "christmas carol" It (reasonably) assumes I'm looking for info on the Dickens' book. It provides a link to a free version of the 1843 novella. But it also indicates that Jack from Nightmare before Christmas is in it. What's this, indeed?

For any interested, here is 1 result. Gemini managed to get an impressive 4 things wrong in one short "answer": - Salem High has ~20 dates scheduled this season - It's matches, not games - Salem only plays one of the "North" teams listed - Churchill and Franklin are N & E, but not S!
