Regressor Zoro during the timeskip, from my tumblr #agere #safeagere #sfwagere #fandomagere #ageregression #onepieceagere #onepiece #zoro #roronoazoro #agereheadcanons

Tumblr screenshot of white text on a dark blue background reading: "After being separated from everyone I think the first while of staying on Kuraigana would have been when it hit Zoro the hardest. He'd been alone for so long before the Straw Hats and then suddenly there were people, people who cared about him and as much as he didn't know how to show it he cared deeply about them and wanted to protect them as much as he could. And then he was the first one to get sent away by Kuma's power. He had no way of knowing what happened to everyone else and the only way he found out they were all safe (assumedly) was through Luffy's message

But he was alone again. Yes, there was Mihawk and Perona but he wasn't close with either, and going off the fact that Mihawk lives in such a large castle he was for sure sleeping alone again and all the empty space only served to enhance that feeling. He'd finally known what it was like to have people care about him only to be alone again knowing how it felt to sleep surrounded by people he trusted, and now knowing how it felt to miss them.

I think he regressed a few times during those two years, once at the very start, once after he lost his eye, and once nearing the end of the two years. "

Tumblr screenshot of white text on a dark blue background reading: "The first time he regressed was a result of just everything that had been building up hitting at once. There had been so much happening ever since thriller bark from him hiding how bad his injuries were, to being the first sent away during Sabaody, and then knowing he couldn't have been there to help Luffy during and after Marineford and everything just piled up resulting in him regressing while Perona was dressing his wounds. That mixed with his current condition, injured and unable to move very much, resulted in him regressing young. For a while he just cried out of frustration as much as he didn't want to in front of Perona and as much as she would try to help they really didn't know each other and she really couldn't do much aside from try to understand and let him get it out."

A tumblr screenshot of white text on a blue background reading: "The second time does stem from a fan comic I am no longer able to find so I do hope my point comes across without it. It was a comic about Zoro losing his eye to Mihawk during training and how it could have gone down and its so canon to me because it's a very in character view of it which is why I really do wish I could find it again. Either way, the point of it is that Zoro loses his eye when he doesn't limit himself in his training and tries to push Mihawk to keep going as he can still go on and wants to keep pushing himself. In retaliation and to show Zoro he isn't at the point to do so yet Mihawk slashes Zoros eye.

Headcanons about how it happened aside though, no matter how it went down he would regress. Be it once the shock wore off, or while Perona was once again tending to the injury like she had been doing for all his injuries he'd been getting during training, he would regress. It wouldn't be over losing his eye, to him it doesn't matter that he lost it (at least until the reality of this being something that has left him essentially disabled until he learns observation haki (I could talk about this so much do not let me) and will take a good while to adjust to sets in) as he could still breathe and fight which was all that mattered to get stronger. So while he wouldn't regress over the loss of his eye it would cause a short bout of doubt that he wouldn't be able to come back stronger for the crew as he hadn't been enough to stop himself from pushing too hard and this loss from happening."

Tumblr screenshot of white text on a dark blue background reading: "By this time him and Perona have gotten closer and come to care for each other in their own ways (I would very much recommend going to read the One Piece Heroines novel chapter 4 long summary here to get an idea of this as its not yet translated into English officially and check here for a rough fan translation for a better idea of it) and she would be at least able to support him this time having more of an idea of what's going on this time until he comes back to his senses and learns from it.

Perona, despite getting annoyed at Zoro a lot over his lack of self care, self preservation, and sense of direction, manages to do pretty well at taking care of him. Once Zoros initial crying and anxieties calm down she finally gets to see the side of him that just hasn't had any care and has come to trust her as someone who he can let himself be taken care of by.

Finally, he would regress one last time during the two years. This would happen maybe a few months before the end of them, a mix of missing the crew from being separated for so long while also knowing it's almost time to see them again. Once again this is the point where going forward this is more for my AU rather than general headcanons so it pertains more to future fics. It wouldn't be anything too much and it would be more of a quiet regression where he would find a place to hide away for a while because this is also where he fully decides that to come back stronger this is something he cannot do anymore. The whole point of the two year separation was for them all to come back stronger and to him regressing was something he needed to leave behind to do so."

Some small Zoro and Sanji agere headcanons from my tumblr! #agere #sfwagere #safeagere #ageregression #zoro #sanji #onepiece #onepieceagere

Tumblr screenshot of white text on a dark blue background that reads: "Headcanon that while regressed Zoro will chew on Luffy because he likes to have things in his mouth and Luffy won't get hurt cause he's rubber but the rest of the crew absolutely rushes to stop it because there is just no way to know what Luffy is covered in at any moment or the last time he showered"

Tumblr screenshot of white text on a dark blue background that reads : "I've got some regressor Sanji headcanons floating around but I think the biggest is that he wouldn't use parental terms for anyone (aside from Zeff). I think he'd be a sweet little thing and refer to people as Miss or Mister/Mlle or M'sieur."

Continued

A tumblr screenshot of white text on a dark blue background reading: "-Post-timeskip!!!!! I love post-timeskip I love Robin being open to more love I love Robin guys did you know I care for her so much I lo-

-I will make a whole post just talking about the two year timeskip and how that went for her but short version: she comes back ready to open up to the rest of the crew about her regression.

-Franky supports her 100% and has a big smile when she explains it to the others and they are fully supportive.

-Even after explaining it though it's still something she keeps mostly between herself and Franky, especially when she's in a younger headspace. It's not something she ever really draws much attention to when she is regressed around the rest of the crew, typically she'll stay off to the side like she normally does and just enjoy being around them. Franky might take a minute to clue in that she is regressed in moments like those but when he does realize it he sticks near her or comes and checks in on her if he's busy with the others which does eventually lead to the others clueing in.

A tumblr screenshot of white text on a blue background reading: "-When she's in an older headspace it is a bit hard to really tell when she's regressed but one thing that gives it away is when she starts asking a lot of questions about what someone is doing. She's very curious! Her love of learning doesn't go away when she's regressed and if anything it only seems to come out more.

-Nami does get a bit more of a chance to see her while she's regressed as they do share a room and she loves to show Robin things she would have missed out on as a child, from small things like little games she would play with Nojiko when they were younger or stuff like dressing up for fun and just enjoying parts of girlhood that Robin never got to experience (as well as being things Nami had taken from her when she joined Arlongs crew so it's very healing for both of them).

Some regressor Robin Headcanons from my tumblr #agere #ageregression #safeagere #sfwagere #agereheadcanons #onepieceagere #onepiece

A tumblr screenshot of white text on a dark blue background reading: "I've talked about Zoro enough I wanna talk about Robin because I do absolutely adore her and feel like she isn't given enough attention.

-Having gone through just Everything that she has she didn't know she was regressing at first and it wasn't as if she could slow down to take the time to understand it with how much she was always on the move. But seeing as she is always reading more you could assume she would end up reading more psychology leaning books at some point where she'd learn of it and things would click for her as to what was happening.

-Being able to identify it and have a better understanding of it allowed her to suppress it more, considering what her situation was before being with the Straw Hats it isn't something she would allow herself to feel as it would leave her more vulnerable which was the last thing she thought she needed at the time. Especially since when it did break through despite her attempts to suppress it it would intensify how scared and hurt she felt. Scared of being caught, scared of herself, and just so hurt by the world.

A tumblr screenshot of white text on a dark blue background reading: "-It was only after joining the Straw Hats that she finally felt safe enough to explore that part of herself. When there were moments where she was the only one on the Merry she would let herself regress, letting out years of suppressed emotions. There was still fear and hurt, those were not emotions that would go away easily even if she was growing to care for the crew deeply and was coming to terms with the fact that they would not treat her as others had. But now there were times where just being able to settle down in the women's quarters and read or express herself somewhere safe allowed her to feel comfort in regressing.

-She has a wide age range that she regresses to, a lot of the time she rests on the older kid side of the spectrum as regressing much younger can feel overwhelming on her own due to the feeling of vulnerability that comes along with it being something she still isn't fully used to especially pre-Enies Lobby.

A tumblr screenshot of white text on a dark blue background reading: "From this point on the headcanons can be taken as general ones but are also mixed with my AU where Zoro and Robin both regress.

-Pre-timeskip only two people were aware that she regressed. Zoro knew because she was the one to figure out he regressed first and though they didn't regress together aside from once after Enies Lobby during their first few days on the Sunny there was a mutual understanding between them about it. If one needed to regress the other would make sure no one would interrupt and vice versa. While it was rare for either of them to regress in the first place (Overall Robin does regress more than Zoro) both were also very calm regressors and weren't ones to run around or anything so sometimes just quietly being in the same room together made whoever was regressed feel safer than regressing alone. Having this in common with Robin did help him in trusting her more and accepting her as part of the crew (because it really does feel like there wasn't much time to see that happen in canon).

A tumblr screenshot of white text on a blue background reading: "-The other to know about it would be Franky, he ended up finding out about it accidentally and after a brief period of Franky worrying she was mad at him over it and Robin not knowing if he was going to keep quiet about it they have a conversation about it and she ends up trusting him enough to let him be around her and take care of her while she's regressed.

-Franky, for how new this all is to him, is a really good caregiver for her. Yes, he is a loud and very outgoing guy but he can also slow down when needed while still keeping his carefree vibe that she finds comforting to be around. A lot of the time she just wants to cuddle with him and feel safe or have him read or tell her stories. Even if she does trust him a lot in and out of being regressed she still likes to have some control over what's happening as she's still getting used to having someone taking care of her and still has some doubts over letting people see her like this. But over time she does let him take the lead more and help her learn to let go of that fear.

Some regressor Zoro and sleep from my Tumblr <3 #onepieceagere #agere #safeagere #onepiece #sfwagere #ageregression #roronoazoro

A tumblr screenshot of white text on a blue background saying: "I think about regressor Zoro and sleeping a lot. Out of all the Strawhats he has the shortest actual sleeping period with his being from 4-7am."
This is followed by the SBS that lists each Strawhats sleeping schedule alongside a photo of them

A tumblr screenshot of white text on a blue background saying: "I just. Think most nights he sets his swords on the couch and drops into whatever bunk is free. He gets so little actual sleep that when he does finally settle down he's tired enough that the normal worry over protecting everyone doesn't keep him up too much longer unless it's a bad day. But on nights when he's extra tired or wants to calm his mind he goes through a bedtime routine of sorts to regress to help him sleep."

A Tumblr screenshot of white text on a blue background saying: "It isn't much really, just changing into some comfier clothing, grabbing a warm drink from the kitchen, and taking one of the extra pillows to use as a makeshift plushie as he curls up in his bunk. It's simple, because it's Zoro and when has he ever needed more than just simple? He'd rather let his own mind keep him up all night over waking up one of the others to ask for any form of comfort"

A tumblr screenshot of white text on a blue background saying: "Of course there are time where someone else will wake up despite how much he wants to avoid it. I think out of the ones who sleep in the mens cabin Brook and Sanji are the lightest sleepers aside from Zoro. They offer small comforts to him when they find him in one of those moments, helping him finish his small routine and offering quiet words of reassurance that he'd done so much and it's okay to sleep now."
