that mood when you're hanging out in your little valheim hut wishing that your friends would come back from the war already the war is real life

today in tabletop: home sick, so GAME IS ON, we successfully made our way through the town under attack toward the necromancer directing the assault, and uh this map took forever to load and when it did it was easy to see why 😭😭 this is gonna be a hell of a fight

woke up sick friday, lamented losing another day's pay and being even less likely able to commission art than before, then decided to do something about it with the downtime available to me that day -- and a bit of yesterday -- and also most of today 😅😅😅 Gedwey with their two main love interests!

so anyway i'm knee deep in coral island now and i have SUCH CHALK about ling i wish there were more scenes with her after she turns you loose on the sea, to tell her about everything you've seen i don't know if i'm right or wrong yet or if i'll have the energy to fully draw this later, but ...

the concept for a comic strip drawn mostly in stick figures. it has 6 "panels". in the first, two people are seated next to each other, one titled 'Ling' leaning on their thighs while the other figure, on the left and titled 'R', gestures with their hands. there is no text. in panel 2, R has their arms out to the side, saying to Ling "--It's so amazing! Tonight in tabletop: I'm using a new set of dice in Lancer! I rolled a 7, then a 17 while waiting for my turn, then said out loud after declaring my shot, "And I hope this doesn't suck." and I mean-- it did. Just for the other guy for once! 🔥 The metal is only a coating, they feel light + great ✨

tonight in tabletop: we have managed to meet two whole sessions in a row, which has broken a yearlong streak, and i'm looking at my sheet which is a wreck and i had to leave notes for myself so i remembered my stats but seriously, could i have picked a less-awkward place 😂 my party's got jokes tho

Finished playing House of Hikmah tonight. Really thought it was a beautiful time, with a meaningful message. (click to reveal applied for those who don't want any spoilers) I had some issues with a number of bugs I ran into, but found the experience worthy and worth working around.
