I agree most will not roll their own. But $0.50/prompt/platform/month is not sustainable. Even $0.10 is stretching it. Particularly if you're already paying for standard SERP rank tracking.

The cost/prompt/variant feels kind of like the cost/LLM token. At a flat rate, it's fine. But when the vendor has to sell it at a profit, suddenly customers are doing the ROI math and it doesn't add up.

The AI visibility tool market, like everything else in AI, is moving fast. I think there will very 2-3 tools that buy the high end of the market, then every other one will be a race to bottom in terms of cost, despite both ends of the market being essentially the same commodity toolsets.
