This came from a scene @runehallow.bsky.social and I wrote together where armor!Crit got to face down a figment of his younger self, when he was still enslaved by Mhach.

$Panel 1: A young Criticality, his helm not yet fractured, beats his wings and lunges straight toward the viewer, sword brandished. Panel 2: Another angle. Younger Crit rushing in. Our Criticality, notably wingless, stands. Unfaltering.$ Panel 1: Their swords clash.
Panel 2: Our Criticality's hand slams into Young Crit's throat, who makes a choking sound.
Panel 3: Our Criticality still stands firm, using his sword to divert the younger's while his body is carried past him by his momentum.
Panel 4: A closeup of Young Crit's 'face,' as if stilled in time. He has no features to make an expression of shock.

$Panel 1 and 2: Our Criticality's arm rears back, his hand still around his younger self's throat. Panel 3: Our Crit slams the younger into the ground, the combination of its force and Criticality's weight fracturing the stone floor.$
