My first post for #invertefest! A beautiful handsome Gumboot Chiton the size of my head + a fancy armored sea cucumber. My favorite finds from this tidepooling

A large Gumboot Chiton upside down clinging to a rock. It's mantle is mottled grey brown and you can see it's foot (?) holding onto the rock

An armored sea cucumber attached to a rock, it's shaped like a circle its yellow and bas orange blackish scales (?)

Spent my morning reading Issue #1 of @yiffmagazine.bsky.social and I'm so glad I got the reprint!! Volume One has some cool comics, striking prose and poetry, and a list of iconic furry games that remind me of pivotal influences in my own furrydom. 5/5 read, so glad to have the complete collection

Simulcasts I'm paying attention to (have not started all of these yet) - Liar Game and Smoking behind the Supermarket are top tier, Kaiju Girl and Black Torch are standard anime fair but very fun. Starting Inept Villianess next 😍

Just two episodes in and I've already got the warm fuzzies from this anime!! It's peaceful and sweet, and reminds me of my own faceblindness 😅

Okay so I'm halfway thru this Anime rn and I'm absolutely loving it!!! There is so much beauty in the animation of clothes and hair and the explosions of changing seasons, offset by the dark underbelly of stifling tradition and organized violence and childhood ptsd. I'm constantly in my feels
