Oh geez, I know I've only played, like, 3/4 of EarthBound prior, but this might be the most evil character in the whole Mother series. <Could not do a cartwheel as a first grader.

14.) Wacky Lesbian Bloodlines Anything that mentions Strip Fighter II for the TurboGrafx-16 in a positive light is a masterpiece in my book.

13.) Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway No idea what my thoughts would've been had I read the novels first, but I liked it. Not to keep going "prescient," but fuck the Earth Federation. I'm really interested to see how Mafty continues to develop, both as an org & w/ Hathaway's own goals/PTSD.

12.) Female Trouble I want to go back & watch through Dreamland Productions filmography; I forgot how much I love their style of camp absurdism & exaggeration. The "Crime as Beauty" theme feels interesting from a modern lens, but knowing that Waters visited one of the Mansons in jail? It clicks.

11.) The Sopranos: Season 4 ... Lost track of time. I unironically hoped the "Tony Soprano: Horse Trainer" arc went on longer. Half of this season felt like its own thing, & the other half felt like it was that "We got another season, so let's set it up now." Not that it was bad, mind.

9.) Gundam TCG ST08: Flash of Radiance Upside to doing this late? I did not see Hathaway's Flash until after playing this deck, so I appreciate Mafty more, narratively. But like ST07, this deck shows the issues of half-supporting an archetype, then dripfeeding it enough to lose less to Wing Zero.

8.) MtG: Avatar - The Last Airbender I was more excited for this set than most Universes Beyonds aesthetically, but unfortunately, a set focused around Avatar is going to have a lot of new rules & mechanics based around Bending. Which will cease with Avatar. The burn-out is real.

7.) Gundam TCG ST07 - Celestial Drive Probably the most brutal defeat I ever had in a TCG was going from 6 Shields vs. a powerless opponent, to losing because I just kept drawing Pilots. Unfortunately highlights the issue of Bamco hoarding staple cards in Starter Decks. Still want to run CB, tho.

6.) The Lasting Legacy of Looney Tunes Speaking of documentarians who deserve their flowers getting to a milestone in their series, @kaiserbeamz.bsky.social made it all the way up to the present day! My interest in Termite Terrace stretches back to Toon Headz, & KB that spirit alive.

4.) The Sopranos S3 Pine Barrens could have been its own movie. I'm glad we got to see more side-characters resolve. Really made me want to put them all in a Terrarium & watch how they respond to me shaking it. Granted, a couple episodes were a li'l hard to watch; I ended up skipping the one.

3.) Ape Escape Growing up with collectathons, the idea that the main enemies were the collectibles was hella novel. I liked the speedrun mode where you just go for every monkey. Item management could be annoying, & I do not know if I felt burnt-out at the end or not. But it's real fun!

2.) The Naked Gun (2025) I loved the originals growing up, & had 0 expectations for the reboot. I was pleasantly surprised! I know nostalgia was a factor, but I do appreciate the villain being a Silicon Valley Oligarchy mistaking capital for... anything worthwhile. Don't think I'd want another tho

1.) Todd & Aaron's Game Awards 2025 There's nearly 20 of these & they still get me every time lol The imagery of 2 40-somethings, dressed like they did as teens, quietly doing "6 7" on a public stage to a single family audience puts the fear of entropy in me more than death itself.
