As proof they shared your letter to Brian Eno defending your choice to play Israel in 2018, and a recent dinner with right-wing chud Rod Dreher. I found it pretty impossible to defend the latter given his reprehensible positions on gender, sexuality, race and immigration. He seems like a foul person. Why were you dining with him Nick?"

Nor do I condone the atrocities that you have described; nor am I ignorant of them.” He adds, “I have done a considerable amount of work for Palestine through the Hoping Foundation, raising personally around £150,000 for the children of Palestine, so in a sense, I have already played the other side.”
