#ThePitt is hands down one of the best shows on television right now. I don't know the last time I marked off a day on my calendar each week to watch each new episode. You can feel the stress in your body, the constant pressure our medical professionals deal with day in and day out.

For a lot of people, it's a lack of access and consideration that disables them. It's about the physical and cultural environment of a space in relation to a person/persons lead to disenfranchisement. To quote them directly "it's not about numbers, but about power and equity"

@mxchristalbot.bsky.social's latest CCF article mentioned shifting their language from minority to minoritized to distinguish between systemic marginalization of a group rather than being in a group where their identity is not the most represented. It made me think of the social model of disability

I struggle to describe the urgent ferocity to finish a story The Last Tale of the Flower Bride left me with. It was veratious and animalistic. All I could do was grip the bound pages in my hands and hope that my white knuckles left them with a fraction of the impression the words left upon me.
