I knew Ben Misner (Ed/author) He was my principal in Gr 5: I cut my leg and couldn't walk (10 months) and he found out my Mom was taking me to school in a wagon/toboggan. Every day he picked me up, carried to class, back from class, drove me home. Autographed a copy when it was published. A saint!
